Introduction to Policy rule🔗

Policy rules define the access control conditions and actions within the NACVIEW system. Each rule specifies matching criteria for Identities, Endpoints (MAC addresses), Network devices, and WiFi networks, along with the resulting action (access or reject). Rules can be configured with time schedules, VLAN assignments, and various authorization methods such as EAP, Captive Portal, and MAC authentication. Policy rules are organized into policy lists (draft and installed versions) and can be tested before deployment.
